The Marriage Enrichment Course -
Our marriages don’t have to be bad to want to make them better.
What is The Marriage Course?
This course, run by St. Margaret’s Church, is an opportunity for married couples whether they have been together for 1year or 51years to take time out over a candlelit meal and learn more about themselves as a couple.
Over 7 evenings couples talk together about important issues that can get swept under the carpet in the rush of daily life.
Topics covered include: recognising each others needs, learning to communicate effectively, resolving conflict, healing past hurt, knowing how to make each other feel loved, relating to parents and in-laws, good sex, making time for each other and having fun together.
Couples then have the opportunity to discuss the topic together. There is no group discussion and no requirement to disclose anything about their relationship to any one else.
Who is it for?
The Marriage Course is very practical course for any married couple who wants to build a strong and lasting relationship, especially :
· those who want to enhance their marriage
· those in the first five years of marriage
· those at a challenging stage in their marriage e.g .the birth of a child, a career change, teenagers at home, the “empty nest”
· those struggling with issues in their marriage
The course, while built on Christian principles, is very helpful for any couple with or without a Christian faith or church background
The cost for the 7 sessions is £ 60 per couple.( If money is an issue let us know but in terms of your marriage and family, if you have one, there is no better investment)
Our Course begins on
Tuesday January 13th and continues on 27th January
10th and 24th February
10th, 17th and 31st March.
Each evening begins around 7.30pm in the PA Hall.
You will be provided with course materials.
