The case continues with new evidence.
DNA from the Italian suspect in the Meredith Kercher murder case has been found on underwear belonging to the murdered student, police have revealed.
Forensic teams isolated DNA from Raffaele Sollecito on the bra hook which was attached to a fragment of material that was found in Merediths room.
Meredith's body was found three months ago in the bedroom of her student flat in Perugia, Italy.
Three people are being held in custody on suspicion of her murder - her American flatmate Amanda Knox, 20, Knox's computer studies boyfriend Sollecito and a former basketball player Rudy Hermann Guede, 20.
All have protested their innocence but detectives believe that all three were actively involved in the brutal murder of Meredith, who was from Coulsdon.
The case continues.
