Coulsdon Writers Group
Coulsdon Writers Group ran a successful Writing Workshop on Saturday 14th January at Coulsdon Library. Twelve people attended, all with varying experience in writing, and of a wide age range. Workshop participants undertook two writing activities. The first was to choose a photograph as a visual stimulus to write about. The second was to listen to a piece of music, and then write about what came into the imagination. Written pieces were read out, and discussed by the group. The event was so popular that future workshops were requested, and is likely to result in a regular monthly event. The group also meets at Coulsdon Library on Fridays 10-12pm.
