Gatton Park Easter Egg Hunt
Come for a springtime stroll through Gatton Park and join the hunt this Easter weekend. Explore the beautiful Edwardian gardens looking for clues to win chocolate eggs. Spot herons nesting from the lakeside bird hide. Enjoy Easter crafts, face painting and games in Gatton Hall. Refreshments available to purchase. Open Easter Sunday 12 April and Bank Holiday Monday 13 April 1-5pm. Adults £5, children £3; no booking required.
General information A beautiful historic parkland designed by Lancelot 'Capability' Brown with Edwardian gardens in Reigate, Surrey. Gatton Park is a privately owned estate being restored by the Gatton Trust and is home to the Royal Alexandra and Albert School. Stretching 260 acres, the estate lies within the Surrey Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Gatton Trust is a registered charity. All proceeds from Open Days and events go towards restoration of our historic park and gardens. Opening times Open to the public on selected days throughout the year. Open Days are on the first Sunday of the month from February to October 1-5pm. The Trust also has a programme of special events, workshops and children’s activities. The National Trust own part of the Gatton estate. ‘Gatton Park in our Past and Present’ walk is open all year round. Access Junction 8 on the M25. The entrance to the park is via Rocky Lane. Redhill is the closest trail station with a taxi rank.
